I bought this watch about 4 years ago and have never had any sort of problems with it. It endures everything from a dressed-up night on the town to low-crawling through the mud, and it has never missed a second. Except for a few scratches, it still looks great, too! I love the fact that I don't have to think about winding it or changing a battery...ever. I actually just put another Citizen on my wish list and am dropping hints to my wife. I hope I get to own another one soon.

The watch is great, however the case and band get scratched really easy. I would not recommend you wear this watch normally. I had mine for 3 months, looks like i had it for 20 years. It has some scratches on the dial, which i don't have a clue how that happened. Also today the band broke in 2 places, never spent so much on a watch and had these problems. I will contact citizen to see if they will replace it under warranty.

I recently purchased this watch as a gift to my husband on our wedding day. I had looked at this watch in a local jewelry store and decided to check the price on Amazon for a comparison. I was glad to see that I could buy it at a more affordable price online, but it would have been worth the price in the store! My new hubby loves his new watch!

I bought this watch in Japan 5 years ago and other than the band being huge and had to be taken in a few notches. This has been the best watch I have ever owned; minus the lack any illumination and the glow in the dark hour/minute hands only last about an hour or so. I eventually had the bezel replaced last year due to some scratches that was caused by my own clumsiness. But that barely cost 1/5 of what I paid for the watch and was well worth extending the life/beauty of it. I just recently bought my second Citizen, the "Army" green one for $90 just to wear at work and would be more than happy in a few years buy a Citizen Dress watch to complement my casual and work watches. The solar power works great and they keep great time.
