I selected this watch because I wanted an everyday watch that would work for running to the store, hiking with the kids yet be nice enough for church and work. I do like the eco-friendly eco-drive and I was a little frustrated with constantly changing batteries in my other watches. It fits the bill beautifully! Not too big, not too small. It's a little heavier than I usually wear, but it's a comfortable weight, and I attribute the weight to the metal band, when I'm used to leather. If you leave the watch exposed to good light and then carry it into a darker area, it has an almost "glow in the dark" element to the hands and the numbers. It doesn't last long, but is neat while it does. If I had to make a constructive comment on this model, I would like to see a light-up function for reading at night or in the dark.

This is a very nice everyday watch and easy to read. It's not super dressy and just what I was looking for. I've got several watches and was tired of pulling out a watch only to have a dead battery. I know it's not a huge cost to replace the batteries but it's inconvenient. It's just the right length band for me and that was the one thing I wasn't able to find out about it in advance. The band is around 7-3/8" long which I find is the perfect fit even though I usually wear an 8" bracelet.

I got this watch because I know a few people who have Citizen eco-drive watches and say that the solar power charge means their watches never run slow. My last watch would die every couple years, and I didn't want to replace the battery anymore because it was a real pain and also because of the environment. I decided to upgrade to this very attractive solar-powered watch. The black face makes it not overly flashy. I definitely recommend this watch. I hope it lasts for a long time! And the price is just about right.

I got this as a birthday gift for myself and I loved it. very stylish with dress clothes or blue jeans. It's been over a year now I guess and it still works great. I do make sure it recharges once in a while. My husband also got his earlier (not on Amzon, gift from Australia) but the same Brand - the citizen eco-drive and he has it for over 2 years already...still looking and working great!!!
